Coast2Coast Baby Hire (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a sole trader business (ABN: 88 358 593 533) operating in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We hire baby and infant equipment to guests staying in short-term accommodation, with delivery and collection managed directly by us.

2. Applicable Law
Coast2Coast Baby Hire is currently a small business operator with annual turnover below $3 million. Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as it currently stands, small businesses of this kind are generally exempt from the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). However, we have chosen to voluntarily comply with the APPs and the principles set out in this Privacy Policy because we believe you have a right to know how your information is handled.
We note that the Australian Government has proposed removing the small business Privacy Act exemption, with legislation subject to parliamentary approval and a target implementation period of late 2026. If and when that change takes effect, this policy and our practices will meet the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles in full.
Additionally, since June 2025, a statutory tort for serious invasions of privacy applies in Australia, allowing individuals to seek redress for serious privacy breaches regardless of business size. We are mindful of this and are committed to responsible data handling.

6.1 Stripe (Payment Processing)
Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd processes all hire fees and security deposits on our behalf. 6.2 Booqable (Booking Management)
Booqable B.V. is our booking management platform, headquartered in the Netherlands. Your name, contact details, and booking information are stored in Booqable’s systems. As a Netherlands-based company, Booqable operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which provides strong data protection standards. 6.3 Squarespace (Website Hosting and Analytics)
Our website is hosted on Squarespace, a platform operated by Squarespace Inc., headquartered in the United States. When you visit our website, Squarespace may collect information including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and visit duration, as part of its standard website analytics and hosting functions. 8.2 Correction
